enough distilled water to cover the plates. Do
not overfill prior to the charge cycle.
3 Install the battery vent caps.

to a grounded outlet of proper
voltage and amperage as
indicated on the battery

Light Use (less than 15 lifting cycles): Set to 7
hours.
Heavy Use (greater than 15 lifting cycles): Set
to the on position.

of the set period.
Note: If the ammeter drops to 3A or less within the

to the bottom of the fill tube.
Dry Battery Filling And
Charging Instructions
1 Remove the battery vent caps and permanently
remove the plastic seal from the battery vent
openings.
2 Fill each cell with battery acid (electrolyte) until
the level is sufficient to cover the plates.
Do not fill to the maximum level until the battery
charge cycle is complete. Overfilling can cause
battery acid to overflow during charging. Neutralize
battery acid spills with baking soda and water.
3 Install the battery vent caps.
4 Charge the battery for seven hours or until the
charger ammeter reads 3A or less.
5 Check the battery acid level when the charge
cycle is complete. Fill with distilled water to the
bottom of the fill tube.
